COVID Policies

AXIS PT, a medical facility, requires all patients to wear well-fitting masks (N95, KN95, surgical, or cloth mask with PM 2.5 filters) while in the clinic. This policy is not just out of respect to clients and staff who may have significant daily exposure to others, but also as a courtesy to individuals who may be immunocompromised. Secondary to being one on one with your Physical Therapist for 55-60' and the continuous waves of illness these past few years we have continued to mask. Our goal is for everyone to be and feel safe. Thankfully we have plenty of outdoor space on the plaza which allows for exercise, agility training and for a quick walk outside if you need to remove your mask and take a breath of fresh air. 

Our Commitment to Safety

• AXIS PT staff are fully vaccinated
• AXIS PT staff will wear an appropriate mask at all times with the exception of eating and drinking
• Staff will thoroughly clean all tables, equipment, and furniture before, during, and after appointments
• We will practice appropriate hand hygiene precautions using alcohol-based solutions and/or handwashing with soap and water
• Appointments will start on the hour or half-hour and last just under 60 minutes allowing for socially distanced transition time
• All of the mitigation policies on this page are critical as social distancing of therapist and patient is not possible for treatment
• We will take adequate safety precautions between appointments to minimize our risk of exposure to COVID-19
• If anyone on staff has an exposure contact or tests positive for COVID-19, we will notify appropriate patients immediately so that they can take necessary precautions

Patient Responsibility

• Anyone entering the clinic must wear an appropriate mask at all times
• Hand sanitizer will be available to all patients
• Only keep your appointment if you are symptom free
• You will take adequate safety precautions between appointments to minimize our risk of exposure to COVID-19
• If you or anyone in your household tests positive for COVID-19, immediately notify AXIS PT
